I seem to have narrowed it down: when I eat bread, I have annoying mood swings. (There may also be a tenuous exercise connection, wherein when I knock myself out aerobically at the gym, I then have mood swings that annoy everyone around me.)
This could really put a dent in traditional methods of disposing of leftover turkey. Bummer.

Date: 2005-11-24 03:10 am (UTC)I seem to do okay with flour tortillas. More experimentation with those or pitas might be called for.
[I still haven't done the tea-off, by the way. So I probably shouldn't hold my breath on the wheat experiments, should I?]

Date: 2005-11-24 04:04 am (UTC)(1) A turkey-noodle casserole using rice noodles.
(2) Turkey in cornstarch thickened gravy over rice or mashed potatoes.
(3) Gluten-free bread (available at Trader Joes -- they have a rice-almond bread -- or Whole Paychek)
(4) Turkey wraps made in corn tortilla
Those are just off the top of my head.

Here's a few more:
(5) Turkey stir-fry.
(6) Turkey omelettes.
(7) TURKEY CURRY! (Apparently quite the Boxing day cliché in the UK.)
(8) Turkey with a side of turkey, should we decide to go on the Atkins again.
(9) Turkey with mayo accompanied by a green salad.
Darn you all. I'm hungry now!
