Things which are good

Reasons to be cheerful:

1. Finally made it to the EA LA gym. Totally uncrowded; towel service; non-gross locker room; better music than the local 24 Hour Fitness (and still better than the non-local 24HF most days); and not one but TWO SHINY NEW ROWING MACHINES! Which are a joy to row, not least because I don't fear the chain stalling or breaking if I put my back into it.

2. Season 1 of the new Doctor Who. Nice. (This has temporarily replaced WoW as my number 1 addiction.)

3. As of next Thursday, stuartc and I will have been married for three years! Yay us.

The new Doctor Who series is my addiction. I've enjoyed introducing it to others. (I like BitTorrent)

The whole series surprised me. I didn't think it could match the original series. And I was surprised that the English equivalent of Brittany Spears could act. (I'd say more, but I don't want to include spoilers)

I think a lot of people were pleasantly surprised. Luckily the role isn't all that demanding: she just has to play a girl of a certain age confronted with some very strange situations. (-:

3 years!!!! Has it really been that long?!?! Wow!!! Congratulations! Time certainly does fly.

I'm looking forward to trying out the exercise facilities at Google. They've got two "endless pools" where a current pushes against you.
