We are in sunny southern California. It is July. There are so many perfect, ripe, fresh tomatoes in our garden that they probably outweigh us.

I once heard of a community where the only time anyone ever locked their cars was when they went to church in the summer, to prevent their neighbours from leaving big bags on zucchini on the seat.
