Oddly enough, that would be my second roadie gig. Ok, the first was the college marching band....hey we fielded an electronic section, including synthesizer and literal walking bass. How would *you* like to schlep a huge metal cart with a large speaker, amp and car battery on the field...in the rain?
You win... in my one and only roadie gig, it was me and the guitarist schlepping my bass, his guitar, and a couple of amps through the streets of Boston on a rolling cart that damn near got away a couple of times. We did manage to beat the rain though -- barely!
