I know for a fact that some of the Hawaiian volcanoes are tall enough to have snow on them year-round. Miami, now, that would be a tricky one. (Not as bad as New Orleans, which Dave Barry once described as "like living in a high-crime drainage ditch".)

Based on that list, I hope you don't mind humidity.

Am told and from my own experiences visiting that Las Vegas actually has a very low crime rate certainly in and around any area tourists go.
