Scaring the cats

I practiced my bass tonight, for 40 minutes. My hands, particularly my left (fretting) hand, are pathetically out of shape. Not only that, I've lost ALL of my songs (apart from Key to the Highway, which I will apparently take to my grave).

Sad really. I'm pretty sure the cats are relieved that I've stopped.

I'm with you on that one! I've lost all of my songs bar two as well. Fortunately Syed is still working on getting open strings and rhythm together so I'm sufficiently far ahead of him not to be too worried about it.

At least we can share the agonies of regaining calluses. :)
