I realise it would be unspeakably tawdry (not to mention [livejournal.com profile] stuartc would kill me) to sully our lovely new vehicle with anything so lower-class as bumper stickers, but.... if anyone can find one that says "Got turn signals?" I might be willing to make an exception.

Actually, you need that bumper sticker printed backwards so that the clueless ahead of you can see it in their rear-view mirrors.

And if you find any, we could open a franchise in Massachusetts.

(I routinely betray my non-MA origins by using my turn signals.)

Northern Sun (http://www.northernsun.com) probably does. If they don't, they should have something sufficiently similar.

[livejournal.com profile] efbq's older sister works there, too, extra bonus (-:

I found a site where you can make your own bumber stickers - print them and put them in something that will NOT damage your car. Let me search for it.

Most of the times I have felt actually in danger on the road have been because of improper lane changes. I really wish laws against that and tailgating were enforced as enthusiasticaly as the easy-to-measure (and thus easier to enforce) speed limits.

So yeah, that's a sticker I'd put on my car.

I'm much, much more inclined to let somebody into a lane ahead of me if he has bothered to use his turn signals. (I'll also do it if he hasn't, but it is absolutely necessary for safety; I'm not that stupid!)

I'd like to see more Lexus drivers, in particular, take up this arcane and now nearly-lost practice of signalling for a lane change. Maybe you can help to set a trend!
