stuartc and I test drove some cars today. Three, to be precise: a 2003 Ford Escape (dark blue), a new Subaru Impreza Outback Sport (even darker blue), and a 2002 Lexus RX 300 (extreeeeeemely light blue, or possibly just a really nice silver).

We both absolutely love the Lexus. We're almost certainly going to go back and buy it tomorrow.

Now, you have to bear in mind that Lexus drivers in the LA area are well known for being complete loonies. (With the obvious exceptions of the Nivens, and asimovberlioz's father, of course.) And I've had A Thing against all SUV drivers for years (with further obvious exceptions for my friend Melanie and stuartc's co-worker Bill and surely some others as well). So I've got a LOT of moral high ground to lose on this one.

But you know what? It's so much fun to drive that I don't care. (-: It'll probably be easier to park than the Mustang, too.

Yehhhh! Well, as long as you're happy with your new car, and you're safe. Just beware of viruses which attack Symbian devices via Bluetooth!

We saw a shiny red RX-8, lightly used, at the local Volvo dealer of all places. Seriously tempting. But right now, we need something "practical" for a second car for me to commute in.

Maybe when we get around to replacing the Mustang...
