dianec42Today's cheese is white Stilton with apricots. It's crumbly anyway, even before the apricot bits are taken into consideration, so it's absolutely impossible to slice; but it is absolutely amazingly wonderful. (It comes from somewhere in Lancashire, England. Screw the whole "happy cows come from California" advertising campaign; if good cheese comes from happy cows, then the cows in Lancashire must be the happiest cows in the world.)
One of the things I seriously miss about living in the UK is having access to lots of different kinds of really good cheese. Hurrah for Trader Joe's, for bringing at least a little bit of civilisation to this side of the Atlantic. (-:
