Today's toll: Eight boxes of games unpacked and put away and the boxes flattened. Two head hunters and one actual hiring manager talked to. Two interviews scheduled - one phone, one in-person. Another half-pound or so of leftover turkey devoured. Kitchen trash taken out, orange juice made, eggs hard boiled, DMV change of address mailed, exercise taken. Dishes DONE, including two cat food dishes and the scummy tea cup that was starting to scare even me.

I can't decide whether to take on the rest of the world or go take a nap.

Turkey Leftovers

If you still have any turkey, I highly recommend Alton Brown's Curry Chicken Pot Pie (http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/cda/recipe_print/0,1946,FOOD_9936_21192_PRINT-RECIPE-FULL-PAGE,00.html). I made this tonight, and it was fantastic! I added a lightly scrambled egg when combining everything just before baking, forgot to add sage (d'oh!), used a Pillsbury pie crust on the bottom and sides of the casserole dish, and unrolled crescent dough on top. Veggies included frozen corn and peas, fresh carrots and broccoli.
