So, we're quitting our jobs and moving to LA. So, [livejournal.com profile] stuartc already has a job offer, and has in fact already accepted it. So, I still need to get a job... sigh. I keep forgetting that I'm not actually some sort of useless loser slacker, and that I do in fact have quite a lot to offer.

I am smart! I am clever! I have various numbers of years' experience doing any number of useful things! I am organized! (I am tired of exclamation marks!) I am in fact SO organized that I am halfway through making a list of clothing and accessories that I will need to go on interviews. Crikey, what a lot of stuff - I need to buy *everything*. (I think the last time I went on a proper round of interviews was 1996; apart from one token interview, I've spent the entire intervening time in jeans and extra-large t-shirts declaiming the merits of various software products (and the occasional casino).) Help me! I am a woman of nearly 40 and I have never bought hair spray before!

How can I be brave enough to move across the Atlantic twice in two years, and yet get stuck at finishing the last two lines of my resume?

Good luck.
( You don't really need hair spray do you? )

Hmm, last two line. How about...

And they all lived happily ever after.
The end.

Or is you CV not as much of a fairy story as some of the one we have been sent.
