good news / bad news

dianec42The washer works great. The dryer, on the other hand, refuses to get warm. I wish I'd discovered this *before* I ran a second load through the washer...
Also, the phone isn't really working. Current theory is that the phone service set up by the last set of tenants is still on. I did eventually phone up Comcast, but the people with the power to scramble a Cable Guy had all gone home for the day, so I've got to call again tomorrow. Oh well.

stuartc has got the XBox working in HD mode. Thank God we don't have studly speakers yet or I'd have to leave the room...
