Date: 2006-04-28 08:10 pm (UTC)Back when I used to service a particular model of IBM portable, I would come to examine the unit, and then tell the user that I needed a particular tool to open it, which was carefully manufactured to precise specifications by legislated order of the United States government.
I would then reach into my pocket, pull out a nickel, and use it to unscrew the big bolt.
