my god, it's full of boxes...
Nov. 19th, 2004 11:47 amSo the movers turned up this morning, just before
stuartc had to go off to work. They got all the stuff into the house in 45 MINUTES. Wow. Then they assembled the bed and the sofa, and unpacked the kitchen boxes. All boxes present and accounted for, no sofa bits left over, and no dishes broken. Impressive.
The kitchen is now of course a total disaster area. We also seem to be short two Denby cereal bowls - they must be in a non-kitchen box somewhere. And all of the dishes need a good clean before I'm going to be willing to eat off them. (Please, God, tell me the Denby is dishwasher safe...)
OMG am I ever hungry. I wonder if I can actually get at any of the food...
143 boxes. I wonder how many of them are books. Be afraid, be very afraid.
