  • The DMV is more efficient than our credit union. (Yikes.)

  • Wow, some bits of the I-10 actually have exit numbers on the signs!

  • It's a crazy mixed-up world. (Okay, I knew that one already.)

  • When you spill cereal in the gap between the stove and the counter, the hair dryer is NOT actually the right tool for getting it out of there (which is a shame).

  • *crunch* The grapes we bought last night are NOT seedless.

And of course the usual stuff, like "OMG it's November", but I'm probably not the first one to discover that, so it doesn't count.

Reading the job adverts again, obviously. Which is the most depressing?

  1. The many, many programming jobs that want skills I don't have?

  2. The many, many ads with blatant spelling, usage, and/or grammatical errors?

  3. Anything with "senior" and "VB" in the same ad? Or,

  4. Anything with "junior" in it that I'm still not qualified for?

Perhaps I should be applying for proofreader jobs instead of programming ones...
