Best burrito ever (sorta)
Sep. 13th, 2005 03:26 pmSo I wasn't going to bother trying out the new Mexican place just yet... I was just going to go to Quizno's because I thought they would be fast, reliable, and predictable. Hah! After a perfectly reasonable "I'll be with you in just a minute," I waited for at least 5 minutes with no further acknowledgement of my presence, so I walked out. (This was at 2:30 in the afternoon, and the staff nearly outnumbered the customers.)
Good news: No one AT ALL ahead of me in line at the Chile Verde. Bad news: They'd just done the floor and the place reeked. Good news: Fast and friendly service; Jarritos soda; and was able to grab a menu on the way out. Bad news: Burrito leaked all over the menu by the time I got back; Jarritos required a bottle opener; burrito was poorly constructed and required a knife and fork. Good news: knife and fork were already supplied, and bottle opener was readily found. Better news: yummy yummy burrito (carnitas and green chili) and bonus tortilla chips!
That was delicious. I should walk out of Quizno's more often.....
