Shopping disappointment

dianec42Old Navy: Bought a cute top (purple, obviously). Main mission, namely acquiring athletic trousers that I can wear dragon boating that don't make me look like a hippo, failed.
Barnes & Noble: Scored some amusing magazines. Once again, leafed through What Not To Wear For Every Occasion and What You Wear Can Change Your Life. Once again, put them back on the shelf and did not buy them. Some thoughts:
* I still wish they would use other models besides just themselves. It's too much like they're just playing dress-up for each other, not trying to save the world from bad fashion. Don't they have any friends who are short, have unfeasibly thin legs, and/or actually look good in black?
* "Every occasion" does not seem to include the gym (much less dragon boat practice). If it covered the gym, I'd buy copies and donate them to the local branches of 24 Hour Fitness. Must suggest a poster campaign...
* Apparently no one else cares enough to tell you this, Trinny, but PLEASE, for the love of all that is good and right, PUT ON A BRA ALREADY! We love you, but no one wants to see that. Er, those.
Trader Joe's: Got the stuff on the list (brown eggs instead of white, but we'll live). Even remembered creme fraiche, which is not actually on the list. Yay me. Failed to buy sufficient salad; oops.
... Then I went to the gym, where I fought the rowing machine and won a little *too* decisively. Yes, I complained. (Hopefully the grease from the chain will come out.)
Sigh. Does anyone know where to score LOOSE-FITTING exercise bottoms in a size 14?
