Driving past the Torrance courthouse, I saw a sign to "Juvenile Traffic Court". Seems a bit... I don't know, overly specialised? I'm a little worried that that's necessary.

On a similar theme, I later drove past a garish pink building labeled "Adult Boutique", with signs on the side saying "Adult Sales and Rentals". Oh, the potential for wind-ups! "Hi, yes, I'd like to rent an adult please..."

Shopping was successful. Gym was less wonderful -- far too crowded, and the music has gone severely downhill. There seems to have been some sort of idiotic promotional thingy going on tonight (not very well advertised either, I'm sure I was there on Monday and didn't see anything about it) so hopefully things will be back to normal next week.

Traffic on the 405, even more insane than the usual. Truly terrifying. Bailed off onto surface streets because everyone around me was insane and I was starting to fit right in.

So... tired...

you never know. around the time i was leaving charlotte, they were voting on whether minors should be prevented from owning firearms. at that time, it was still legal.

i love N.C., i really do... but at some point, you have to draw the line.

The fact that I would have trouble breathing there would be another factor, at least for me. (And I grew up in, and live in, L.A.)
