the obligatory follow-up
Feb. 8th, 2005 08:34 pmGot the cardboard apart and the case out. Bass: check. Crazy locking strap that is a menace to anyone with tits: check. Cable: check. Tuner: check. Duct tape: so THAT's where that went! Check. Gripmaster: Ditto. Spare 9-volt: oh yeah. Spare kazoo (bright green): whatever.
Everything still works, down to and including needing to mess with the cable at the guitar end a few times before connectivity is achieved. No batteries died in the making of this experiment. I tuned up, noodled about a bit, and came to a horrible realisation: I don't actually remember any songs.
Crap. Well, it's probably time to feed the cats and feed myself too while I'm at it. It's a start, anyway.
