"I am the Lorax, I speak for the trees!"

Ooh, you *must* get the full set of Dr Seuss books for Beth. (Or else we must get them for her...)

"The Lorax" was Dr Seuss's environmental cautionary tale. Yes, aimed at the 3-6 age bracket. It's surprisingly readable. (-:

Very minor. I think he only ever appeared in "Mr Brown Can Moo, Can You?"

(If there's ever a Dr Seuss category on pub quiz night, I will SO be the winner.)

My personal favourite was always Green Eggs and Ham.

I would read it on a boat.
I would read it with a goat.
I would read it in the rain.
And in the dark! And on a train!
And in a car! And in a tree!
It is so good, so good you see!
I loved to read it in a box.
I loved to read it with a fox.
I would read it in a house.
I would read it with a mouse.
I'd sit and read it here or there.
I loved to read it ANYWHERE!

I loved to read Green Eggs and Ham!
I wish I'd come out "Sam-I-am".
