In a moment of boredom, I googled for myself under my married name, and then under my maiden name because that didn't give enough results. Most of the stuff that comes up under "Diane Reamy" wasn't that much of a surprise - MacHack stuff, a LeadHeads flame I'm still quite proud of, lots of instances of the Federal Espresso quote (about half of them incorrect) - but I had completely forgotten about this one:

"I can't chill out. I'm fried. I'd come out all cold and greasy."
-- Diane Reamy

Thanks, [livejournal.com profile] merde... I think...

a couple of years ago, i unexpectedly got email from a guy in my quote file. oddly enough, while he'd ended up writing a paper with the evil C., i'd had the quote there from nearly the beginning of the file. it was something he'd posted to usenet; i honestly forget which newsgroup, but probably alt.sex.

anyway, he'd googled himself and found the quote. and he was stunned to find out i'd been involved with C., and wanted to meet me. so we had lunch, and he asked a lot of questions about C., and said that he was not the least bit surprised that he'd been a nightmare to live with, because apparently he'd also been a nightmare to work with.

the quote in question:

"I could feel my tool throbbing like a weasel in a seizure." -- Adam Sah
