Happy New Year everybody
Jan. 1st, 2010 11:48 amMay 2010 be a good one.
For future reference, what the heck is up with the lack of west coast celebrations on the TV? All we could find were repeats of New York. (We watched a "Friends" marathon for about 15 min -- which is also repeats of New York, technically -- before we gave up and went back to playing WoW.)
2009 had some interesting bits, including Worldcon in Montreal and a last-minute trip to Joshua Tree. I finished a big stitching project from 2008 and hope to finish the sequel in less than 1 year. We had some fun visits from friends. I lost some weight and hope to keep it off this time. Work lost a LOT of people (some of them voluntarily). The cats all survived, although in Zoot's case we could have done with slightly less excitement. And at the last possible moment, I finally met a cheese I didn't like (cranberries in cheddar? Really, Whole Foods, what were you thinking?!)
Ah well, out with the old, in with the new. I might resolve to post more pictures this year. Some deeper resolutions will be forthcoming at some point. :-)
