Last weekend we did NOT make it to Gallifrey con. We did sort of make up for it by watching the rest of season 2 on DVD that we ordered from the UK around Christmas.

I miss British TV. We're making a short trip to England soon for a wedding, and I hope I don't spend the entire rest of the time glued to the telly sighing wistfully.

Why are they changing the dates on daylight saving time AGAIN? It's hard enough to get up in the morning as it is. (I know, I know... they're just doing it to piss off grumpy old farts like me.)

My new resolution around the office: If I cannot help making theatrical sighing noises, I shall at least endeavour to do so with my mouth closed.

It is not actually possible to do a "quick" run of any part of Sunken Temple.

When are the Oscars? I volunteered to drive [livejournal.com profile] stuartc to a thing in Hollywood tomorrow, how doomed are we?

It took me longer to drive home from Torrance last night than it did to drive home from CYPRESS last Thursday. Grrrr.

At least you were able to see Series 2 to the end!

Did they show the Runaway Bride one at the con?

I think we're even caught up on Torchwood now. I can't believe we actually stopped playing WoW long enough to watch that much TV.

They did show Runaway Bride, though I've seen it already.

I can't believe ya'll stop playing WoW long to eat, honestly. I mean, it is Better than Life (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Better_Than_Life) after all. :)

Luckily it is possible to eat and play WoW at the same time. It's stopping playing long enough to SLEEP that's a problem.

True.. but you could get food in the keyboard. I imagine you can rest long enough to use the bathroom too huh?

I did once claim that the real reason I needed to upgrade the PowerBook was not too little memory, but too many toast crumbs. Also it still smells like coffee from that exciting spill at [livejournal.com profile] mwhit1978's place.

For bathroom breaks, there's always some point when you're flying from somewhere to elsewhere. We haven't fitted the couch with plumbing... yet...

"I miss British TV."

Does your cable company carry BBC-America?

They rarely carry SF, but they have a lot of nifty murder mysteries.

Meh, they mostly show stuff we've seen before / have on DVD / aren't interested in seeing. The stuff I got hooked on mostly doesn't seem to get imported.

The 79th Annual Academy Awards are Sunday evening, which means that Hollywood is for all intents and purposes impassible for a few days. You are indeed utterly doomed.
