then again, I rarely get serious PMS. In fact, according to my calendar, I probably have it Right Now. But... when I do get crampy pain and stuff, I find that pill painkillers don't help my mood (as if the pain is still retained emotionally), whereas booze and chocolate do.
I usually want chocolate and carbs. Exercise is probably better. :-}
I've heard that evening primrose oil (and something called starflower oil, which they had in Australia) are good for PMS. Also red raspberry leaf tea, and various "women's teas" you should probably be able to find in droves out in La-La-Land.
Exercise would probably be a good idea. I've had a moderate case of What's Going Around, so I haven't been to the gym all week.
As for chocolate and carbs… I adore the miracle of modern chemistry, which has given us reasonably convincing sugar-free chocolate (and low-carb chocolate ice cream!). Without that, I would probably be 20 pounds heavier.
