Are we there yet?
Oct. 12th, 2004 08:25 pmSo today was our last full day in Dundee... (yes, I am technically in St Andrews whilst writing this; oh well).
tobyaw has pointed out that I'm not in St Andrews so much technically as geographically; I'm going to stop encouraging him now.
Tomorrow the movers are coming to collect the last of our stuff - yes, the air shipment will include the air mattresses. Then we shall clean a bit more and run a last errand or two in the car before turning it over to its new owner; then it's off to the Glasgow airport hotel so that we'll actually have something to sleep on before we fly away on Thursday. Wow. Can't believe we're actually going; can't believe it's actually nearly time... I'm excited to be going, sad to be leaving here, and bloody exhausted from both all the hard work involved and the emotional roller coaster.
It's going to be weird, that's all I can say. Also, I do promise to write considerably more once we get broadband. Or else rename this "the Monthly Diane" or some such...
