I just played WHAT now?

Man! These songs are HARD! Whiiiiiine. (-:

I got the main riff from "Play That Funky Music White Boy". At speed. I think I hurt myself. I volunteered to take on the high backing vocals for "Drive My Car". I think someone ELSE is going to hurt me over that. And the last time we train-wrecked on "Tightrope" it was because the drummer was following ME. Whoops.

Things I miss

I miss having my own office with a door that shuts, and room under the desk for a bass amp.

Ironically, I think I had a lot more time to practice back when I was with a band that never did anything super difficult.

I just had a very nice hour walking around the Del Amo Mall in Torrance, which is one of the larger malls around. I figure, if I'm feeling inadequate in my bass playing for the Christmas party, I might as well at least check out the option of stunningly sexy evening wear as a distraction.

I was once again frustrated by the Tiny Shop of Really Spiffy Dresses in the Window, wherein they NEVER actually have the dress I like anywhere but in the window (and never in a non-awful colour in any case; this time it was a strange shade of green). Oh well, more inspiration for when I do finally get off my butt and sew something.
