Damn, we're good!

stuartc and I rented a cargo van (yes, on the spur of the moment, successfully) and drove to Ikea. Where we bought, I swear, one of nearly everything in the store... brought it all home and unloaded it in time to return the van (our mightiness does NOT extend to finding street parking for that behemoth *and* the Mustang on the night before trash day when everyone's bins are in the street). We assembled the shelves in the sun room and are now taking a well deserved break. Some thoughts:
* I can see why people buy SUVs, although when everyone has a tall vehicle, suddenly you can't see over anyone else any more. (Unless you rent the Mighty Cargo Van, which is bigger even than a Hummer.)
* I'm glad I have a husband who is blessed with the spatial skills to drive and park something of that size, 'cause I'd sure be useless.
* Our sunroom is *EXACTLY* the right size to fit shallow Ivar shelves along three walls, with two corner units. Really. There's like half an inch to spare.
Exhausted now...
