does anyone know...

Does anyone know if bread is one of those things like milk, where if you stop eating it for long enough you lose the ability to digest it properly?
and if so... is it likely to be the yeast, or the gluten, or what?
I am coming from complete ignorance on this topic, so please go easy on me if that was an incredibly stupid question.
edit: It's definitely not the gluten. Thanks
cahwyguy (and Mrs.

Date: 2005-11-22 05:43 pm (UTC)The weird thing is I had a slice of the same loaf with breakfast a couple of days ago and I was okay. Maybe the difference is having one slice land on a couple of eggs, versus two slices where the bread is tied for first thing I'm eating. (They're really big slices too. Stupid bread machine. (-:)
[Was considering a dreadful pun on your use of the word "eliminating" but can't do it justice.]

(-: So, lucky me, that's not my problem. (Still don't know what the problem actually *is*, but there's that process of elimination thing again.)
