Fast food thoughts

dianec42I finally got sick of bringing salads to work today, and went to Carl's Jr. for a bacon cheeseburger. One thing I do love about Southern California, no one looks at you funny for ordering a burger without the bun. (Flash back to the Bloom County cartoon with the punchline, "Milkshake, hold the cup.") The day I get tired of bacon cheeseburgers is the day I get tired of living.
They tried to give me French fries though, which amused me no end. I'm not even sure I've ever HAD Carl's Jr. French fries, and while I'm off carbs seems like no time to start.
BTW, Japanese curry last Friday was... interesting. I totally broke the system by asking for no rice or noodles. The food was really tasty, but I think either I got someone's mild chicken curry by mistake, or else next time I REALLY have to order it hot.
