Cross stitch progress

I got (most of) the purples done. I discovered some dark purple just below the bits I've finished. I also did quite a bit of nigh-indistinguishable pastels. Then I started doing dark brown on black and vowed never to complain about pastels again:



Now comes the black on black. There are some black stitches here, I swear there are. This is going to take a really long time.

Thanks! I'm really enjoying it. Way easier to see what I'm doing than that (admittedly lovely) 32-count purple linen you found for me. :D

Although, for the black stitches, I will just say thank **** the back is a lighter color or I would have no chance of getting everything right!

Yeah, linen is a learned skill (but I will say that once you learn it it's hard to go back, so maybe you just shouldn't try ;)
