Was that meant to be an "and", there? Also it feels like there might be an object missing at the end of the line.
I don't think I want to live in southern California, not that I'm looking particularly anyway, but one wonders what's out there sometimes. (The rest of it sounds kinda like my current job. For what it's worth, seeing "ninja" in a job ad is about when I stop reading.)
Yay for being the voice of sanity! I can appreciate wanting to be part of a chorus, though.
