Last night the microwave decided it didn't want to make my food hot. This morning, the light in the cats' room burnt out. Then on the way to work, I was only running a *little* late when I discovered the ramp to my exit was closed. (Really, would it kill them to put up an extra sign so I could get off at Crenshaw instead?)

Then I heard a really strange sound. It was raining SO HARD that I could actually hear the rain on the roof. I don't think that's happened before in the 2 years I've been working here. (2 years! Good lord. I guess I must be having fun, because time is indeed flying.)

I'm hoping this is the world getting out a short burp of entropy, rather than a trend.
