dianec42Am continuing to attempt to eat sensible amounts of carbs. Today's lunch was Greek - I had dolmades (grape leaves stuffed with mystery meat and rice) and Greek salad, all of it FABULOUS.
Today I got to do a work-related thing that was SO COOL I'm not even sure I'm allowed to talk about it.
Related to the above, today I had a Huge Navigational Adventure when it turned out that the main bridge between downtown Long Beach and the Queen Mary was closed off because some bozos are filming a movie. With 3 of my cow orkers along for the ride. I did NOT freak out, although there was quite a bit of cursing (and much discussion, and much pushing of buttons on the sat nav, and eventually a phone call). It was actually kind of fun.

siderea for posting something that Made Me Think, and (2) yesterday's enthusiastic musical exorcism.
I went to the gym tonight and knocked myself out on the treadmill. Someone fixed the sound system and the radio is once again audible in the treadmill half of the gym. Huzzah.
Guitar Hero II rocks. So does white Stilton with apricots.
Have downloaded Finale NotePad and should probably not start playing with it extensively right now.
More Long Beach navigational craziness tomorrow. I should just go to bed.
