If you hit a golf ball in space, and it was a liquid-center one, would it explosively decompress if you hit it too hard?

Also, how do you keep it on the tee? Or do you just let it drift off a little and hit it where it "lies"?

And how do you hit it without yourself spinning in the opposite direction of your swing?

It's a fair(way?) question... more imporantly would a *regular* golfball hold together in vacuum, given that they are already pressurized?

Magnetic boots attaching you to the hull. We already thought of that.

Keeping it on the tee is easy - you just have to make sure that the motion you use to place it on the tee is perfectly perpendicular to the tee's upright.

Well, liquids don't expand and contract that much under more or less pressure. And golf balls are kind of designed to be hit; so I don't think the internal pressure alone would be enough to rupture the shell.

I have spent *far* too much time thinking about this.

Excellent! A valid answer to the question "why be normal?" (-;

Entirely the wrong questions. The question is, after reaching the club for drinks after the 18th, how do you keep your gin and tonic from freezing in the frigid vacuum of space?

Did I really mean perpendicular to the upright? I think I meant perpendicular to the deck plate... But you got the idea. :)
