Googling, I found: http://www.irishexaminer.com/breaking/story.asp?j=4010850&p=4xyx865&n=4010942
"Hale said Oklahoma was one of several locations the company considered for the plant, and called the state’s incentive package “pretty darn aggressive”. The state is offering Nanjing tax breaks for job creation and a new business development fund."
The article also says "MG was Britain’s last independent car manufacturer but had not produced a new model since 1998." The SV and ZS came out after 1998. Is Morgan still independent? What about TVR?
Hey, man, you go where you get the biggest bang for your buck. It's not like software and pizza delivery can be the only things we're good at forever, right?
Too true. Contrary to popular opinion, US factory workers generally produce quality stuff.
The US-build VWs ran just as well as the German ones, but had nicer paint, fit, and finish.
Similarly with some of the US-built Japanese brand cars.
