All things considered, yesterday wasn't too bad of a day. It wasn't a great day (nobody propositioned me for sex or employment) but it didn't suck, either. On the whole, I'd say it was a pretty run-of-the-mill uneventful day.
I'm also contrary. I had some use-it-or-lose it vacation days, so I took a couple and mostly hung out at home, until the evening when I went to the lasfs meeting. There I had a pleasant time, was told that sci_fi_grrrl was about to have her baby, and then after the meeting went with the bunch to Coral Cafe (http://www.coralcafe.com/), where I had the excellent spinach linguini with pesto and a nice lentil soup.
