Gas hits $4 a gallon in Beverly Hills!
(probably requires free registration to read; sorry, allow me to summarize for you.)

For full-serve. Premium. Possibly at only one location. But oh noes! It's the end of days!

(*tries to figure out what 90p a litre works out to these days*)

When we rented a car in France, I didn't EVEN try to do that math. It might have been depressing. I was on *vacation*! Ignorance is bliss.

Yeah, but even notice when they're looking for the shocking high gas prices, they look for the premium-unleaded full-serve price per gallon. Of course that's going to be high!

When it's dropping they always look at the price of the cheap stuff at the cheapest gas station.

It's just not shocking to mention the gas you can get a $3 a gallon when there's $4 a gallon for premium-unleaded-full-serve gas after all. :)
