My understanding (from a half-paid-attention-to Elbows thread, I think, but I'm not sure) is that the biggest (and significant) difference between medical glue and Crazy Glue is that the former is flexible. Garden-variety cyanoacrylate is pretty brittle, but worth a try anyhow -- I would try it if it were my finger, at least -- even if it has to be replaced every so often when it cracks. On a hunch, I'd say to try the "gel"-type Crazy Glue (or whatever other brand of CA). I used it for something once, and I remember for sure that it took longer to dry, but I think it was also slightly less brittle when it did dry.

How long is the cut? If it's short, regular Crazy Glue may actually hold well enough despite the brittleness.
