The story about the leaky statue makes me think of the "Big Dig", "Engineers have been battling to repair the leaks... ...but so far have only found 75% of them."
Note: For those readers outside New England, the "Big Dig" was the 15+ year, 16+ Billion dollar project to rebuild I-93 through downtown Boston as an underground highway. Following their opening to the public, the new tunnels were found to be rather leaky.
