* The kazoo that died recently was not just any kazoo... it was (AFAIK) the last of the big batch of kazoos that
lapsedagnostic and I bought at Toys R Us for a party at
aliza250's place circa 1992. Imagine if you will, a kazoo chorus enthusiastically playing along to the Who's "Tommy"... good times.
* If I am informed one more time that perkiness is not allowed, I am going to have to counter-inform that I am just naturally perky and it's not my problem if other people can't deal with that.
* The "I don't want to know" post-it isn't working.
* If you play Lumines in challenge mode for long enough, the skins eventually wrap around.
* While my husband's employers are much BETTER about the whole working-ridiculous-hours thing, they are not yet perfect in that regard.

Date: 2006-02-09 03:58 pm (UTC)However, as I have been nearly dead from this stupid cold for the past couple of weeks, yesterday I started feeling *relatively* perky. As in, relatively ALIVE; as in, this is a Good Thing.
When I used the phrase "occasional moments of perkiness" at lunchtime yesterday, Dan got the most alarmed look on his face and informed me that under no circumstances is perkiness allowed. I said it was all relative; he asked if I had perky relatives, and it went downhill from there...
