I went out to get lunch about an hour ago. In jeans and a t-shirt. It was quite pleasant out.

I don't know if I'll ever get used to this place... or if I'll ever be able to go back to anywhere that actually gets cold once I do.

You mean "this place" as in SoCal? Yah, I love it too! When it's not raining I can still ride my motorcycle year round! (Okay it's a little chilly at night.. but still.. no ice.. no snow...!!!)

I have to say, weather wise... I love it here but I will admit it still rains a little too much for my tastes in the winter. But without the rain I guess we wouldn't enjoy the sun, huh? :)

Of course, I'm now sitting at my desk wrapped in a fleece and clutching a mug of hot tea because the @%#^!! air conditioning is running. Sigh.

I assume I'll come to love this place sooner or later. Right now I'm still taking turns resenting being dragged here, and just being weirded out by it. (-:

At least you and [livejournal.com profile] stuartc have had the opportunity to make new friends here. (And used that opportunity quite well, I might add.)

Oh come now, everyone has that opportunity in life, surely? [Okay, not everybody's office has a band, so I'm ahead a little bit.]

I understand about the weather and whether it'll be possible to go back to snow and cold :-(

I also wore jeans and a t-shirt to work; it was a bit chilly for outside & I did throw on a sweater most of the day at work. Still, having just gotten back from visiting Boston and dealing with snow (the joy of cleaning off the rental at 4:45am to get to the airport) and winter jackets, I didn't mind needing a sweater.

I'm not resentful about being dragged out here myself, since I guess I was the one who did the dragging, but I do feel my attitude shifting to wondering why more people I like can't move out here (instead of when might I move back). Of course, it hasn't even been a year yet.
