Quilting practice
Dec. 22nd, 2023 04:49 pmI am slowly practicing my skills of cutting out squares and sewing them together, using low-stakes fabric from my stash. The practice project is a teddy-bear-scale quilt for a program the local quilting guild does.
The finished size will be around 22.5" by 28" with the binding.
EDITED TO ADD: This is way harder than I thought!!
I cut out some squares:
and cautiously started sewing them together:
then a miracle occurred:
look at that tidy back! look at it!!
I've pinned together the quilt sandwich and am now watching a ton of videos about how to actually quilt it.
