gym-tastic

Went to the gym last night, did treadmill and some weighty stuff. Didn't have to try to hear the radio over Loud Treadmill Guy this time, but did find myself surrounded by the Three Amigos after I'd already started. Chatted with them briefly when the psycho astronaut story came round on the news channel.

I still suck at the aerobic exercise thing. Oh well, it does mean I don't have to spend gobs of time on it to get all sweaty and exhausted. And it does feel pretty good when I stop.

Stupid web site tricks

So I thought I'd goof off help in the search for hiking boots... a Google search for "Columbia sportswear" found me the useful-looking site www.columbia.com... okay, it's got too much Flash, that's annoying, but whatever.

Searched the category "Footwear" by activity "Camping/Hiking" (because apparently you can't JUST look at footwear, that might be useful). It found 2 matches.

Both of them are jackets, which also happen to be hideously ugly.

There's no "feedback" link that I can find. Oh well. Hopefully they logged that my visit lasted less than 3 minutes. Perhaps someone, someday, will wonder why.
