[livejournal.com profile] stuartc and I have the week off between Christmas and the New Year; we have been spending far too much time welded to the couch playing games. He's playing World of Warcraft, which technically wasn't a Christmas present (we scored a rare copy in the interval after 99.9% of the first wave sold out and before all the conveniently located stores got new stock in); he has been trying to convince me to play, but I've successfully resisted so far, not least because we've both been too busy playing games to upgrade the memory in my PowerBook. Meanwhile I have been playing Myst IV Revelation. (With occasional gusts of solitaire and Bejeweled, of course.) I'm not even particularly stuck, just being a bit slow. (Actually there is a bit where I am slightly stuck, which [livejournal.com profile] deguspice should feel free to laugh at me about, because it's exactly like that silly Toggle game you beamed me for the Palm several years ago, and my brain refuses to deal with it.)

WoW is very pretty, and seems interestingly complex. I have the attention span of a gnat, yet even I admit it looks like it could be fun to play...

Ooh, what's that shiny thing over there? Gotta run...
