I am now officially annoyed with the limit where LJ will only display the last 100 entries for a particular tag. I looked at the FAQ but didn't see anything about whether they're working on that limit... does anyone know how to find this out? Or should I just invent new tags every 100 entries?

(foresees "food and mood 2", "food and mood 3", .... head explodes.)

I've resorted to option B because LJ seems altogether unimpressed with my pleas.

Oh great. I've switched styles to S2 so I can browse tagged things in a slightly more reasonable fashion... Ha! I even went to the trouble to re-tag some recent stuff so "food and mood" has exactly 100 entries, and now it will only let me see the last 80!

What are we giving these people money for again?

OH! You're not believing them when they tell you you have 100 entries, are you? Tell me...are some of those entries visible to more than one filter?

Of course some of them are visible to more than one filter. It may also be confusing things that the main filter "food and mood" has the same name as the tag "food and mood".

The wacky-ass thing is, I'm sure this used to work. But that could just be my brain makin' shit up. It does that.

(I initially thought it was something to do with switching from S1 to S2 styles earlier today -- did I mention I've been feeling hyper and bored out of my wits? -- but I switched back and it's still broken.)

So, non-work stuff is now at the same status as work stuff: Just once this week I would like to get SOMETHING useful done and not get to say "Gee, THAT's interesting..."

Nope. Sadly, this was my complaint from day 1. You're probably seeing all your actualy entries, but it *counts* them wrong. If you have posts visible to more than one filter, it will count the number of filters rather than the number of posts. Sigh.

No, I'm sure I'm not. The oldest one I can see is nothing particularly special. And I don't see my very early "why I'm making this filter" post. So it's not going back to the beginning...

eww. OK - this color doesn't work. The color for a link doesn't show well on the dark purple background.

Yeah, I'll work on that. Not awake enough to try anything that complicated yet...

I made it lighter, does that help?

think so - weird 'cause there are two backgrounds for the comments. Of course I can't compare to what was up yesterday.... one is just fine - the other could still use some more contrast, but is not totally unreadable.

This page - the one I'm typing the comment it - looks real nice.

Yeah, there was a dark one and a light one. I made the dark one be lighter than the light one. Might yet make the light one even lighter.
