Remains of the day

Assuming we're not coming in on the weekend, today is our last day of work in this office. I've just cleared out all of my personal stuff from my desk and put it in a pile. There is surprisingly little: some pay slips, an IBM stock plan thingy that I *really* need to do something about one of these months, my emergency backup tea supply, progress reports from two UK conventions we're unlikely to attend, June's phone bill, a ticket stub from the Dodgers game we went to (they won)... I can pick it all up in one hand.

For some reason this suddenly strikes me as incredibly sad. As much as I've said I've hated my time here, it still hurts to let it go.
