Band stuff (assorted)

dianec42We practiced at lunchtime and again this evening... including the two obstreporous swing tunes, including the one that I Just Don't Get....
I GOT IT!!! (Now if I can just keep hold of it through Saturday!)
Went to Barnes and Noble and bought 7 clip-on battery-powered book lights. The actual name-brand "Itty Bitty Book Light" is 32 dollars(!) so I bought a different kind. (-: The cashier was very impressed, especially when I explained what they were for. I wonder what time Costco opens in the morning... I assume batteries are NOT included with these things...
Went to the gym (the 24 Hour Fitness in Manhattan Beach). I swear, every time I go there, I hear a song the band will be playing at the party. One time I heard "Since U Been Gone" (before we dropped it), another time I heard the Maroon 5 song "She Will Be Loved," and tonight I heard "Play That Funky Music White Boy." It's nice to hear music that I like, but it's kind of freaking me out.
