Stolen from [livejournal.com profile] hobbitomm:

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, (even if we don't speak often) please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL memory of you and me.
It can be anything you want - good or bad - BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE.

When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people DON'T ACTUALLY remember about you.

Do you remember when you bet we wouldn't be able to talk our way into getting waxworks made of ourselves at Madame Toussards, and how we went and blagged them (Photoshop is wonderful!) into thinking that I was what David Beckham really looked like, and that you were Victoria? How we laughed!

What about the time we got carried away with the DIY science at the caravan and managed to blow up the van next door? It was a good thing no-one was in it at the time.

Well, you were only supposed to blow off the blahdy doors!

I looked, and so must write

This is a tough one for me, of course, since I've known you so long and we have ever so many memories from which to draw, but I think the one that really stands out is when we went to Pee Wee Herman's Halloween party and both of us were dressed as Elvis! So embrassing, but it was ok since I was fat Vegas Elvis and you were young hip Elvis. Remember how we sang "Love Me Tender" together, only I was so medicated I used a miniature statue of liberty as a microphone? Wow...I haven't been to a party like that since.

You, me, Quasi, a ferret, a pound of honey, a leather ball-gag, and a Van-de-Graaff generator. Do I need to elucidate?

Ah, how could I forget? So glad no one called in the SPCA - that ferret was having the time of its life!

You know he's on LJ, as [livejournal.com profile] lapsedagnostic, right? (Um, Quasi, not the ferret.)

I had not known. Thank you for the pointer.

There are some really terrifying people that have turned up here. I'm vaguely comforted that my one truly estranged ex has friends-locked all of his posts and wouldn't friend me in a million years.

i often think fondly of the time we ran all of [livejournal.com profile] dglenn's skirts up the flagpole at Disclave and then gathered a crowd outside his hotel room to whoop and applaud when he was forced to emerge in that fabulous orchid negligee.
