Question for the hive mind...

What is the meaning of the word "Dhet"?
Someone was claiming it's German for "Great". Obviously false. (I made a remark that "I bet it's something naughty that they don't put in the abridged Langenscheidt's." The response I got was "You have no proof. Shhhh.")
Now I must know!
(Google has not been terribly helpful. So far it seems to be Albanian for "ten" and Thai for "lovely". I'm betting neither of those is the origin of this idiotic guild name.)

Dhet is a type of South African cheese made from goats' milk. It has a rather strong flavour even for a goats' milk cheese, and is considered best washed down with a large glass of Van der Humm liqueur.
