Your wording implies that they're flogging net security because it's bad for business. Which I can rather get behind, as business (in this beknighted country, anyway) generally consists of popups, spyware, and UBE, and I quite enjoy my security measures that minimize these annoyances. Note that congress is continuing to pursue the idea that it should be illegal to blunt these advertising intrustions. Note also that many of microsoft's problems stem from their willingness to bend over for big business (I have long referred to internet explorer as "advertiser friendly", and for good reason).
